This is one of the more specific categories of photography that they don't teach you in photography school, but its one that I always wanted to learn.
This was relevant to my cat's interests. She thanks you. And drools.

so it was okay for israel to develop their secret nuclear arsenal in secrecy?.
For the life of me I can't figure out why new releases aren't available on demand. I have Netflix, XBox 360, and Amazon VOD services all hooked up to my TV and I still have to go to blockbuster to get new releases when I don't want to wait for the mail man.I would pay good money so I don't have to get off my couch. They apparently don't want my good money.!

To all the people that bitch about being "too cold" at the office: put on a ***** sweater.Seriously, getting warm is simple...add layers of clothing until comfortable temperature is found. However, when half the employees are sitting at their desk with sweating in short sleeve dress shirts it's too goddamn hot...when there's water dripping off the INSIDE of the windows from the condensation, it's too hot. Unless, of course, HR wants to start letting people work in swim trunks...bring a ***** sweater or sweatshirt to work and stop cranking the heat up to 85.Sincerely, Pretty much every guy at the office (and half the women)?
I just sorta like mine... is that a problem? |

As a person who *cannot tan*, no matter what, I can say that there was a definite pressure to be darker when I was young. I don't know if it stopped because I got older or because society changed it's ideas about "healthy sunlight". It was most intense in Florida, where there was a large latino/islander population of dark skinned people. There was some racism to it, for shizzle. When I was a teenage girl, pale skin was seen as ugly, and uncool, not just different or a product of my genetics, and people would make rude comments about my race and culture when I walked past. I therefore tried very, very, hard to tan. I sat out in the sun for hours and really damaged myself.I would say that a white girl damaging her skin due to societal pressure to be a different color, is not different than a black or latino girl getting skin damage caused by bleaching cream. In both cases the pressure and the treatments are about trying to hide your genetics.
