It's all about the orange properties.....
"A system where a few holds all the money never works. tax is necessary for government to operate"Two different arguments here, though. If a system where a few hold most of the money is a bad thing, then imposing a tax on companies is also a bad thing, as it means less opportunity to hire more people which contributes to wealth disparity."The problem is that companies on stock markets have to not just make the same amount of money as last year, they have to make MORE money or their stocks will go down. As they have to squeeze more and more money to keep profits high, they eventually have to cut wages and naturally move jobs off seas."Not quite. Businesses at any given time will be able to compete only so far, and where companies are unable to safely provide a margin for reinvesting and future operations and growth, this leads to more risk, which can lower the stock value more than if they were operating more conservatively.Growth of a company does not automatically mean sacrificing on wages either. Growth is about being able to do more overall.Regular investors who are strictly buying and selling keep the businesses on their toes, while more long term investors might get dividend options as an incentive to stay in and anchor the stock against volatility."At some point, either the rich will have to decide that ruining the American economy for stock value isn't worth the long term problem it produces (fat chance). or government will have to come in and force them to behave in an ethical manner."You say that like the government doesn't contribute to the problem. However stingy a company might be, unless they are colluding with politicians to establish anti-competitive regulation, they are still creating products and services that people want on a voluntary basis. This isn't the same model in government. Any activity which artificially increases the cost of business will be detrimental, which you can see when comparing national policies.!

It's not even just that, they just can't lock the PC version down like they can the console version, so they're leaning towards the consoles now. It used to be the other way around, but with consoles getting so much more powerful I'm not surprised they're focusing on that. It's also easier to block piracy, since so many more people download ISO's and such as opposed to modding consoles...They make more money strictly because they can limit what you can do, like IW is doing here. They are blocking private servers and custom maps so, if you want to play new maps, you have to buy their map pack, and there is no other alternative. If there were custom maps or private servers with mods, then there wouldn't be nearly as big of an incentive to pay them...I predict that the next COD will be console only. The obviously decided the PC market wasn't worth their time...

As far as I see, he's just trying to invest in actually making cleaner tech a reality. Who cares if he profits? He's the kind of guy who would put that money back into good causes anyway.

The loophole has been there since the 80's but it was only in the last few years that it started to be taken advantage of. And it was never really legal, it just wasn't illegal
