| I don't know whether to "Digg" this so more people see it and the sheer absurdity, or just dig a hole and bury it for the garbage it is. (Of course, that wouldn't change the fact that it ACTUALLY HAPPENED> WHAT THE HELL?) I feel my feet slipping and gravity pulling me down a slope. "Leaving aside the question of whether this link is well enough understood to justify Reinotti's decision" Yeah, let's leave that one little wrinkle out- that genetics and neuroscience are convoluted tangles of interactions. And I think this thread's response to the rest of the question: "should genes ever be considered a legitimate defence?" has been pretty unanimous . . . and I SERIOUSLY, with every fiber and nucleotide of my being, hope opinion stays this way. |

I'm pretty sure there is an app for that.Edit: At least one: http://www.jaunted.com/story/2008/10/27/143036/16/ ...
But the blog writer added quirky little comments to each one, thank goodness, to make it riotously hilarious.

“I have no problem with moving jobs over seas. Just as soon as Execs move their own jobs their too..and get paid the going rate wherever they are. Execs move teams overseas and then the rest of us have to deal with the logistics (early morning or late night calls, blah blah blah...nice.

How is that fair to the insurance company?Devil's advocate: A person is has a history of fraud, but there have been no charges filed against the person for 10 years. If you were responsible for new accounts, would you give such a person a policy? What if you're job hinged on it?A person has a long history of substance abuse, hepatitis, and AIDS. Would you insure that person? Should you be forced to insure that person?A 55-yr old whose sex and race are predisposed to heart conditions is applying for a policy. This person is 100 pounds overweight, has hyper tension, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. This person has an upper-middle class income. Should you be forced to insure a person who has obviously lived an unhealthy lifestyle. If you do insure this person, are you justified in charge an exorbitant monthly fee?If your answer to any of these questions is yes, then I would ask why it's OK for the insurance company to absorb these costs while the health care industry treating the actual illness are exempt from such a burden?.
I think he means Vamp.!

Fap Fap Fap?
Your comment reminded me how one of my best friends was scared to death of Planet of the Apes. :-) The only thing (well person, really) that scared me when I was younger, was Vincent Price... but I loved to watch him anyway. I just finished watching V and I think it has potential. |

I'm sure you mean "engineers". Manufacturers just read instructions, hit buttons, and pull levers.

Yes... the problem of the banking industry has everything to do with penises and nothing about politics. After all, it's not like the desire to increase home ownership by lowering credit standards, making realestate a de facto tax haven, and creating up congressional mandates to increase ownership with "under representative" groups (AKA... people with no credit) had anything to do with it. It also has nothing to do with the prevailing "wisdom" that homes are an asset, not a liability, and there is nothing inherently troublesome with 30-year adjustable mortgage. Your comment eluding that the housing crisis, which led to the credit crunch, could have been avoided with more females in banking is ipso facto sexist. It is especially disturbing that you would capitalize on the misfortune of millions of Americans to push your anti-male agenda. You should be ashamed of yourself... right after you make me a sandwich.
