As a libertarian, I'll have to disagree. My critique isn't about a lack of interesting ethical issues, but the lack of realism: Did you notice how the show completely swept over showing any realistic governmental response to the appearance of the aliens?? If that has something to do with the storyline, then that might make more sense, but it appears the alien infiltration was limited to covert agent cells.Just like that, some teens became political envoys?? Just need your parents signature! lol... It's very out of character with the bureaucratic controlling governments in the real world.
