Addendum: I mentioned eugenics because creating harsher sentences for people genetically predisposed for certain behaviors is exactly the direction needed for a eugenics program to begin.Therefore, people predisposed for a particular behavior cannot and must not have their quality of life affected as a result of said predisposition. However, for the sake of public safety, measures which satisfy quality of life and the public must be implemented. I don't know what these would be, but extended jail sentences certainly don't count..

I'm (West) German, and I can remember the fall of the wall. I was like 13 at the time, and I heard on TV that the border was open, and that every East German was getting 100 DM "welcome money" from the government at the post office.Before long, a bunch of Easties rocked up on my street. Parked their smoke belching Trabant in the bus stop (which is illegal), went in the post office, claimed their money, and came out and stormed the supermarket. They came out loaded with Western consumer goods... steaks, beers, cartons of cigarettes. Yum, cigarettes. I was flat out and had 3.60 DM. A pack costs 4 DM. Went up to the Easties and said "Hey, I'm broke and I'm trying to get some smokes together. If I give you these 3.60 DM would you be kind enough to let me have some off the carton you just bought?""Neeeeee", they said, got into their smoking plastic car, and puttered away, leaving me to wonder whether that just was our tax money they spent in there. Never liked the ***** since.?
obviously the car companies couldn't make a profit off of any of the EVs of that error, because they REFUSED to sell any of them! (aside from a handful of Toyota Rav4-EV which are still being driven today, and invalidate any arguments put forward by the likes of GM that they "couldn't" sell the cars because of liability concerns or whatever.)even with the ridiculously low gas prices of the time, thousands of people still wanted these cars. believe it or not, some people are actually smart enough to realize that when gas is cheap it doesn't stay that way for long; and there are many other benefits to electric propulsion besides decreased fuel costs. every single EV offered for lease was snapped up, with long waiting lists, and those lucky enough to get one protested furiously when their cars were forcibly taken back and crushed.

Even though H1N1 is totally over hyped right now it's still only polite to cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze. If the other "lady" asked her politely to cover up the cougher is a totally disgusting human being for spitting on another person and I would have punched her in the face also if she had spit on me...well, maybe not punched her in the face given that I'm a giant man but I certainty made it very clear what I thought of her and told her exactly where she should go...What's wrong with people??!?!
