At 90,000 employees, Microsoft is far too large. I think there are a lot of cut backs in the next few years for Microsoft. Unfortunately Ballmer is the one who will be stuck with the negative image for fixing up someone else's mess.
No, thousands of large mirrors.

That means more opportunities to use swine flu as an excuse to stay home. Excellence..
Yes but only in North America...for the rest of the world it's "The video you have requested is not available in your geographic area...". Not nice treating us like pariahs because of where we live in the world. This is the *internet* for *****'s sake, and it's the 21st century, and in the case of ST:TOS we're talking about a TV series that is 42 years old! Copyright restrictions based on geographic location, placed on "classic" TV series is just plain bloody-minded. It's no wonder people torrent this stuff...!

Look at the rate that online speeds have increased over just a 15-year period. At that time you were lucky if you had a decent 56k connection and now speeds of 10Mbps or more is the norm. Consider compression rates as well. 15 years ago if you could even play a video online it was going to be at best a 320 x 240 window with at best 10-15FPS.Two things are happening at the same time. Online speed is going up and compression is making even huge video files sizes smaller. There will be a convergence soon that will allow for hi-def videos to stream or download very quickly with little loss in quality as compared to optical disks. This is why the fight between BluRay and HD was pointless. The future is online. BluRay will never have the adoption rate that VHS or even DVDs enjoyed.
