| That video is a really horrible way to present this game. The background noise sucks the whole atmosphere away. The guys at Quantic Dream are awesome. Indigo Prophecy was freakin' amazing (at least until the weird ending) and it looks like this game is gonna be something really special. I guess you guys probably have similar feelings with regards to Alan Wake. Either way, let's hope that Heavy Rain and Alan Wake represent the beginning of a new trend where the narrative in video games becomes more than just an afterthought. The story in games should be just as important to developers as the game play itself. I enjoy blowing ***** up as much as the next guy, but there comes a time when games like Call Of Duty 54 and Battlefield 3048 just don't cut it anymore. The fact that we get 20 new FPS games per year while games like Heavy Rain and Alan Wake come out once every 5 years is a crime. |

I originally thought the same about the Sesame Street toys, but then I remembered that I have a stuffed Oscar on my shelf from 25 years ago. Those characters are timeless (as long as the show is still being aired for new viewers) and it's one of those toys I never threw out. The timelessness of the toys I guess, is that today's Oscar doesn't look much different from the decades old one I have.As for Lego requiring a strong grip, they also make a line called Duplo which are easier for younger children to push together or pull apart. The company used to have another line, called Primo or Baby, for smaller children, which were even easier to push together, but from looking at their website it looks like those are discontinued..

Looking at both of them side-by-side they share basically the same shape and both have two screens.The Nook hardly copied the look and feel of the Alex, the Nook lacks the side buttons has a much smaller multi-touch screen as opposed to the Alex's screen. The Nook's page buttons are in the same place but look to be built into the item as opposed to actual buttons. The entire basis of this case most likely rests on the idea of two screens, but again, they're completely different in terms of not just size but specs. There are only a few ways to build an e-book reader, and from what I can tell the Nook doesn't infringe anything. Sure it has a same general concept, but they're different. - just my 2 pence.?
thats funny, IE8 is exactly what made me switch to Firefox... when the IE8 beta came out it caused me sooo many problems! |
