Intel is going to push Lightpeak hard I think. Only for people concerned about privacy. As long as they don't keep track of HTTPS sites... it doesn't matter. There are browsers that already do this like Opera with link and I think Flock did it too(?). Worst case you can always turn off the option if you personally don't want that piece of information -or- switch to private browsing/temporarily turn off the syncing. If browsers in particular could get a second form of revenue from selling our browsing history I probably wouldn't think twice or care that company x knows I visited digg to comment on a google chrome story.
