It's not what they sell or how much they sell it for, it's WHO is selling it.
As a gamer I've always admired Monopoly for one very simple but very important reason: it's got a fantastic balance between skill and luck. A good player will beat a poor player 4 games out of five, but the luck is still an important factor. That, IMHO, is why this game has lasted so long, and why it has such replay value.And if you win you can say it was your superior skill, and if you lose you can blame the dice.
