Square corners makes the Droid seem bigger than it is, along with no multi-touch, and a clunky keyboard. Android 2.0 (Eclair) looks awesome. Speed wise the Droid rocks. Apps look great and respond nicely. I'm just not impressed with what are going to be things that will annoy me to no end when the "kewl" factor has worn off.I'm waiting for a 2nd generation Eclair based phone that's had a little more attention paid to the QOL details that affect day-to-day long term ease of use.?
str1fe, you are correct, but I wouldn't say "most" under-perform. I think it was stupid to give LA a 2nd MLS team (Chivas USA) and I disagree with Kansas City having ANY sports team, let alone an MLS team. MLS got a little too happy in the early to mid 2000's by giving franchises to any city that promised a stadium. Lately they've been smarter though. Seattle was an EXCELLENT move, Philly will come online next year and they should rival the passion of Seattle. Houston has always been a great crowd-drawing franchise except when they have games at 2pm in the summertime (that will change with the new stadium). Toronto has a great fan base as well.
