“Went to Germany when I was 12. Actually went through checkpoint Charlie on a military bus. Frickin' crazy, West Berlin was this thriving city and 100 hundred yards away there were still bombed out buildings from WWII.

Would it not be more accurate to write: "Murdered by Al Qaeda extremists"? And why do people like O'Reilly so desperately want it to be more vague? Because they have another agenda, of course. This is more complex than a simple case of PC gone mad. The problem is that the description is not only (correctly) labeling the extremists as muslims but it is, by implication, labeling muslims as extremists. Many of the people doing most to fight Al Qaeda extremism in this world are muslims (lets face it some of the most critical people are probably very brave muslims working undercover to infiltrate these terrorists. That is always how these terrorist wars are one: see IRA.) So, the description works two ways and one of the ways, while it is only implicit, is offensive and misleading. Would you be happy for a memorial to a civilian killed in Iraq to read: "Murdered by a Christian soldier"? "But they are not fighting on behalf of Christianity," I here you say, "They are fighting for America". Well, a lot of muslims would say these extremists are not fighting for Islam but for a perverted extremist creed. So, why not: "Murdered by Al Qaeda extremists"?.
I was about to buy this game online. Then I noticed the bastards were selling the online download of it for the exact same price as if you went to the store and bought a physical copy.Lets see, No booklets, no cd, no shipping to the store's, no loss because the store selling it gets about 10%.I realize that people will buy the download for convenience but if they won't even make it $5.00 cheaper (which would still earn them more money than a store purchase) then ***** em.!

Same here mate... 1000 bucks for the Zelda game is insane...?
For real. The US has landed probes on Mars and discovered water there. The US landed men on the moon 4 times. The US has a space telescope that discovered galaxies and mapped the cosmos, including dark matter and dark energy. The US has sent probes to survey the outer solar system. Neither Russia or anyone else has even sent a probe outside the asteroid belt. Now all of a sudden people are gloating that Russia is ahead of the US simply because they have simply PROPOSED a nuclear propulsion system for space travel? Interesting. |

My sentiment exactly. Oh, you want to criminalize half of what the Internet is good for? OK cool, we'll just enjoy (and popularize) content that you don't own. And then watch your corporate media ass flounder, fade into obscurity and die. All because you don't "get" how to make money on the Internet.
