hehe, rednecks really get riled up quick when they hear that russia one-upped them somehow. they quickly look to something, ANYTHING to rag on. the white trash can't really appreciate a new idea or technology unless it comes directly from US.
For modern day car something like the Corvette ZR1 stirs me, but I am a classic car man. Give me a Duce Coupe, lead sled, the late 60's early 70's muscle cars, or '55 Belair and I am a happy man.

“The original series was inspired by Sinclair Lewis' "It Can't Happen Here," and was an allegory about the rise of possibility of fascism in the United States. It was heavily patterned after Nazi visuals, including a Swastika-like logo, SS-like uniforms. a version of the "Hitler Youth," etc. The original series was very political, and it wouldn't be surprising to the see the current version follow a similar tact. The original two-part series and subsequent mini-series were popular when it kept to those themes; after producer Kenneth Johnson left and they came out with the "V" series, it became more of a sci-fi series -- with alien/hybrid babies and so forth -- than a political commentary. Whether or not the new series is about Obama worship -- which I personally doubt, since it's airing on ABC -- remains to be seen.

I'm glad someone finally called out the Harley *****. I would have gone with "attention whores", but whatever. You can't hear yourself ***** think when they blast by. And if you think the usual Harley Blast is bad, imagine how they sound concentrated between two high-rises in a downtown. Babies explode.

I take it you do not remember Clintons term. He had some of the funniest skits about him. The whole Saddam hussuien, monica lewenski skits are hiliriaous. Not to mention the one were he they parody him and the rumor that he works for the KBG. |
