My fridge full of meat failed when I was on summer vacation, you can imagine how my apartment smelled when I got back. It took weeks to get the smell out.
So I like FlashForward. It's not the greatest thing ever, but I find it pretty enjoyable. I don't think I'd recommend it to anyone that wasn't a big sci-fi fan.Still, I guess I'm always surprised how people want to make a claim about how a show is objectively bad. As if there's never been something they liked that someone else didn't call out as having "bad acting" and "boring characters". I don't enjoy some 99% of television programming, but someone obviously does and I don't see any point in my trying to point out why they're wrong. Or visa versa.I guess the part of it that bugs me is this idea that everything needs to appeal to me or it's flawed. Only something that works for everyone should be made. This sucks for me because I tend to like things that most people don't like. I actually joke about having a death-touch... any show that I dig is almost surely going to get cancelled (Firefly, Conviction, Daybreak, Sarah Connor Chronicles, etc...). I'm shocked Fringe is still on.I just wish someone would figure out how to make and market a show for the 20% or so of people who don't dig what's in the mainstream. FlashForward is one of those shows, and there are surely a few million people who like it (even if the author of this piece doesn't). Is that really proof that it sucks? Or that it shouldn't exist?

If he wants less violent games, how about making one that is successful in the US/Europe market. Aside from the Parappa series, his resume doesn't exactly scream success... Major Minor's Majestic March was one of the worst games on the Wii, that is saying a lot considering the Shovelware available for it.?
Because the first time it happened, you would have gone back disappointed and been there when you showed up again in the future. The next time around when you're actually there, you would have gone back happy and met yourself again in the future. Think Bill and Ted when it comes to time travel. XD |

CH: Is there a typical kind of Weird Al fan?WA: The joke is that all my fans are twelve-year-old boys which is not true, but I can kinda see where that myth comes from because that's probably my most energetic hardest-core fan.Actually, that would mean his typical fan is a 37 year old guy. the truth is, there's no typical fan. Saw him on tour a few years back for my birthday and there were old ladies, old dudes, nerds, punks, bikers, paris hilton types, college frat types, fat guys, skinny guys, businessmen, and everyone there knew all the lyrics. In fact, the test to see if you're a real Weird Al fan is if you hear the original song on the radio but find yourself singing the weird al version. or worse, if you can't even remember the original song lyrics, then you're hardcore.//is actually 38//is actually old
