I doubt that. This girl is hopefully too young to remember any of this so it may not affect her much growing up, but her parents can't be trusted anymore, and she's going to grow up without them now.I'd like to think family members will end up taking care of her and give her a loving home to grow up in, but she'll probably end up in a foster home, which is never a good situation.!

Read about resistive vs capacitive touch screen technologies. Both have advantages and disadvantages; you can't just say that one of the solutions is "wrong". I know I'd rather have the precision of a resistive touchscreen (which gives it handwriting capabilities) and the possibility to use any object besides my fingers to activate the screen (fingers == fingerprints and grease) than having a slightly more sensitive screen (prone to accidental activation) and multitouch (useful, but not as necessary as handwriting recognition for my usage patterns).
