Many membership/subscription based services function just fine. How is it that you can't imagine roads being paid for on a voluntary basis? People could pay a specific amount for their local upkeep, and road construction businesses could compete to lay out the best, most affordable roads. Licensing wouldn't be necessary, but property owners could instead use certification. There would be an incentive to make travel as easy as possible. Everything would become more affordable, as well, and you could see a larger influx of passenger rail. All sorts of solutions are possible when people are free to choose them and hold them accountable for costs.

The pharmaceutical companies (such as GSK) would be unable to put anything other than that on the insert to protect themselves from litigation. If you check any reliable formulary book almost all manufacturers advise against pregnant women using their drugs (Reference British National Formulary www.bnf.org). Doctor's commonly prescribe against this advice if it is in the mother's best interests as the WHO argue it is in this case..

I've been seriously thinking of getting into this kind of stuff... would someone care to recommend a good site for getting started? A forum, whatever... thanks kids! GO PHILLIES!!!?
If it is going to be going in tubes, why bother with the outer sphere at all? Just have a levitating platform with rails.Also what happens if you touch the sphere? It would such to get your toe stuck and the entire thing flips over.Also I love the fact that this is listed as some kind of 'Eco' Transport, when it would use massive amounts more electricity to keep the pod hovering than a regular system.Just have a square/circular platform which can rotate its wheels any way but keeps the platform aimed in a specific direction. Or those pod car systems.
