God is sitting up there watching what we watch and read what we read. He liked Spiderman 2 and decided to pay tribute by mass producing these babies. After a few test creations, Spiderman 3 released. That when the production stopped...
Incorporate the amount saved from prisons and police and it will be a much higher number.

I hear Greed is one of the Deadly Sins, and Charity is a virtue.. but yet we can't seem to stop outsourcing jobs, and there is insane resistance to helping those who can't help themselves."@xOrion73x: so you apparently would rather give of your earned income by being taxed relentlessly by the government and letting that gov't choose who is helped rather than having the choice yourself of who/what charity you want that money to go to and who gets your help. I on the other hand prefer to make that choice myself. This country is the most generous country in the world when it comes to private philanthropy and helping those that are downtrodden or in need or harmed by disaster and need help getting back on their feet. However I also believe in helping those who help themselves. If someone simply chooses to hold their hand out and expects a free ride, no they don't get it and that is what the socialist governments goal is. To spread the wealth regardless of effort returned. Don't get me wrong here, there are those who justifiably can't help themselves that we should assist. But there are many more able persons who if they can get their food, shelter, healthcare, etc without having to do anything at all for it, will and those are the ones that don't deserve my charity.

Music industry would be worse off without iTunes. They refused to come up with a workable online purchasing system of their own and as a result Napster was drinking their milkshake. iTunes stepped in and filled the void and, because of the iPod's popularity, got many people buying digital music.Of course the music industry is greedy and was pissed at iTunes $.99 price point but eventually they negotiated for three price points (in practice only two, still haven't seen a song I'd want for the $.75). In exchange many distributors agreed to remove DRM.I don't care if you like/hate Apple (I'm on the fence) but let's keep the history correct. If I missed something let me know..
