I got pretty annoyed with everyone calling them "the V's", too. I think "Visitors" has much more meaning in both potentially friendly and potentially scary ways. "V's" just sounds lazy.I liked the pilot, but that may be because I loved both the original miniseries and have fond memories of watching them on TV when I was a kid. The pacing could have been better. As someone mentioned above, they suddenly skip ahead 3 weeks and some people like them, some people hate them. It seemed a little off when the wheelchair guy (Roy, I thnk?) was healed by the Visitors one day, then shortly after... well, he felt differently about them, without any real explanation of how he ended up in the condition he was in when he came back to the priest, or how he got his hands on the information he had. Hopefully they come back to deal with that and explain a little more about what happened to Roy.I do think that black guy was cool, and I like the twist that Visitors have been on Earth for years, undercover. And that the some of the undercover ones want to be on the humans' side.

@DonAlfred & @astrotrain Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Halloween (the original). It's one of my all time favorite horror movies.I'm not saying Rob Zombie's remake is the "OMG BEST MOVIE EVAR!!!!111!!1" All I said was is it wasn't "THAT bad". I've seen plenty of other remakes that were absolutely terrible, and I just don't think his take on Halloween was one of the worst. I understand leaving some of the story up for imagination, and we all have our own ideas of how Michael got to where he is today. Rob Zombie just decided to put his idea out there in a movie to share with people and I liked his vision of it.Geez, didn't need to get all crazy on me @DonAlfred :-/

There's usually not that much electricity generated even in good weather. But why lease what you already own? There are regs in place in many states, some since the late '70's, regarding this. You put up the rooftop solar, and integrate it with your home electrical system. If nothing else, your grid electric bill will go down significantly. You COULD break even. If by some miracle, you produce more than you consume, the utility is legally obligated to give you a credit. (Rarely happens, but on paper it's possible.)

You have to wonder if people running these studios are retarded. The people who can stomach sitting through a camcorder version of Star Trek would not go to the theater or buy a DVD anyway. They should really forget about this nonsense and focus on selling a better product to their real customers - the people who may actually WANT to see it in the theater and WANT to own it on DVD.
